HVRFC 42 vs Chambersburg 15

A side Barbarians produced decisive win against the Turtleheads this past Saturday on the west campus fields at Penn State. Chambersburg showed a strong and promising start of the game but just couldn't seem to get anything to produce against the Babas.

The Babas showed forward strength and fabulous defensive skill. Forward domination in the rucks and line-outs proved to be too much for the Turtleheads who couldn't seem to recycle the ball.

On the other hand, superior ball possession and clean ball out to the Baba back-line showed the Babas as a dominating force.

The Turtleheads capitalized and scored two times by two badly executed Barbarian kicks which divided and scattered the forwards, but the Babas drove the ball and played fantastic try-line defense. The forwards saw excellent execution in line-outs and scrummages.

Several conversion kicks were made by Captain Patrick "Bonenn" Kiely.

B SIDE

HVBRFC- 44 Vs, Chambersburg 14

Babas B side also proved to be too much for the Turtleheads. Several new players were shown the ropes in this B side match up. We were happy to see the return of Mike Green, Thad, and Pinball Joe back to the team. Dominating forwards and back line play showed that the new guys were ready to play.
